Web Writing and Editing

Learned code. Built a website.

With the foundations of HTML and CSS-- and tons of help from peers-- our class accomplished a task some of us thought was impossible.

It was like learning a new language that we were attempting to learn from all walks of life. Some of us know code beforehand, others barely use the internet.

It made for a very interesting conversation.

The goal for this website was to show that I could make a visually appealing website that provides information and is accessible for a variety of viewers and audiences.

Reclaimed. is attempting to bring knowledge about where to drop off hard to recycle materials, responsibly, and making recycling and upcycling trendy by providing local centers that will take hard to recycle materials.

Hard to recycle materials include batteries, bras, denim, automotive fluids, electronics, appliances, and paint. My website is intended to be used as a resource specifically for Atlanta residents that will inform them about drop-off locations.
