Human Centered Design
Putting empathy back into project management
That is the best way I can explain Human-Centered Design for someone who hasn't taken the course yet. This would be the second tier to Project Management, and Systems + Critical Thinking would be the third tier.

Human-Centered Design is all about taking the client into consideration and how to communicate the project with an external stakeholder. We learned how to brainstorm effectively and on a team, how to look short-term into the future for a long-term effect by learning the process of how to do Sprints and write Design Challenges.

The following report is our case study regarding senior financial exploitation and the process of how we got to our Design Challenge Solution.

Our solution was to create a website to house educational information for seniors to prevent financial exploitation. The original goal was to accompany the website with in-person workshops with the senior community to build foundations of trust and partnership, providing a handbook to explain best practices and resources. Since COVID-19 impacted our original goal, we transferred the information to a website for an online presence.
