There's more to social metrics than engagement. 

Please don't misinterpret what I'm saying-- engagement is important. But, being able to track those engagements to predict what followers will do next is even more important. 

My bread and butter is to be able to take raw data and transform it into an action plan. I answer questions like: What does your audience like? How does your brand resonate with the audience? Why is one post performing better than another? 

I created the Social Media Metrics Breakdown slides to easily organize the 5 (including vanity) KPIs that social media managers look at when analyzing a profile.
