Introductions
Affectionately called a "half-breed" by a guest during my time at Stone Mountain Park, I have officially lived half my life in the north and the other half in the south. I was born in Michigan and when my family migrated to the south, I was singled out for having an accent. Now, it's so easy for me to slip between a northern and southern accent.
Try it out! Call me up and ask me to say some of these words that come out very northern:
- Manhatten
- Bones
- Boots
However, friends can sort me from a crowd by the way I say y'all.

I consider myself a product of Atlanta. High school, undergraduate and now graduate school have all been conducted in Atlanta. By the age of 22, I interned at two major Atlanta publications, worked/shadowed at a couple of Atlanta tourist attractions, and have been following along with Atlanta's growing identity. Not to mention that the music is pretty good too.
My inspiration for a lot of my own personal style comes from Wes Anderson and Paula Scher. Muted colors with monochromatic themes are my go-to. Don't get me wrong, I can definitely provide a client with a bright, color-popping Instagram theme (e.g. @saralongsworth), but minimalism can speak volumes.
